Responsibilities:

Supervise construction projects. Conduct daily inspections of work performance. Act as liaison and coordinator between contractors. Solve problems that arise. Man loading. Monitor and adhere to established budgetary guidelines for job, and ensure that cost control measures are being followed. Monitor job safety, and provide job safety training and awareness for all personnel. Monitor quality standards of all jobs, and ensure that all quality assurance and company standards are being met. Monitor job schedule and coordinate work with contractors and deliveries with suppliers and ensure inspections are scheduled appropriately. Develop entire job schedules, 90 day schedules, and three week schedules.

Qualifications:
  • Must be able to develop entire job schedules, 90 day schedules, and three week schedules.
  • Must have at least 5 years experience as a general foreman or superintendent.
  • Must have experience directing and supervising Union labor crews.
  • Must have experience managing 20-50 craft employees at a time.
  • Must have broad understanding of technical electrical systems, including but not limited to: Underground layout and installation and instrumentation installation.
  • Must be prepared to attend meetings with customers and owners/general contractors.
  • Must be able to adapt to new surroundings and with new people.
  • Work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
  • Working knowledge of computers and experience with the use of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Must be willing and able to travel and relocate.
