The Southern California Regional Rail Authority (SCRR) built a new Metrolink Maintenance Facility consisting of a five track storage yard, two service and inspection tracks, 240 foot long train washer, and a single-story 5,150 square foot transportation building containing offices and mechanical staff welfare areas. A pump house and utility building were also constructed.
Site work included 24.3 acres with 12,150 feet of track. The total duration of the project is anticipated to be 560 calendar days.

Mass. Electric Construction Co. (MEC) was contracted to Brutoco Engineering & Construction to perform the electrical work, consisting of the following main components:

* 15KV Switchgear
* 15KV Outdoor Substations
* 480v Switchboards
*480v 500kw Generator
* 480v Auto Transfer Switches
* Medium Voltage, Power and Communication Ductbanks
* Site and Building Lighting
* Conduit
* Wire & Cable (15KV, and 600v)
* Fire Alarm System
