Intelligent Transportation Systems

Intelligent transportation systems (ITS) consist of wireless and line wire communications-based information and electronics technologies. When installed into any transportation communications system, these technologies help ease congestion and improve safety.

MEC has installed several intelligent transportation systems, including arterial management systems, freeway management systems and electronic payment and pricing systems.
