Inner County Connector Contract B "ITS"
Mass. Electric Construction Co. (MEC) is currently the electrical contractor for ITS, tolling infrastructure, and roadway lighting on the Inner County Connector Contract B in Maryland.
The I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Project will add a 10-mile HOV lane and improve supporting infrastructure such as ramps, bridges and sound walls on the San Diego Freeway (I-405) and will widen lanes from the Santa Monica Freeway (I-10) to Ventura Freeway U.S.101).
Mid-City/Exposition Light Rail Transit Project
The Mid-City/Exposition ( Expo) Light Rail Project consists of a new two-track light rail system that connects to the existing Metro Blue Line (MBL) at Flower Street and Washington Boulevard in downtown Los Angeles.
Since 1992, Mass. Electric Construction co. (MEC) has maintained a constant presence in the Dallas area having been awarded numerous light rail contracts with Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) in excess of $240 Million. Projects have included the original Starter System’s signal and communications; the Northeast and North Central Extensions’ signal and communications; the Arena Extension’s signal, communications, overhead catenary, and traction power systems; and the S&I Yard Expansion’s signal, communications, overhead catenary, and traction power systems.
WMATA UPS Battery System Replacement
MEC Transportation furnished, installed, connected, tested and energized the UPS and battery systems at various locations and the necessary appurtenances to ensure safe, complete, workable and operational UPS and battery systems in the WMATA Metro Rail System, including furnishing and installation of ancillary material as required.
