Mass. Electric has extensive experience with traction power systems, including revitalizing existing traction power systems and installing new systems on new transit lines and extensions.

MEC has provided numerous pre-packaged and stick-built substations for projects employing contact rail systems as well as Overhead Contact Systems. Many of these projects include extensive power distribution networks as well.

We have the ability to fully integrate any design requirements, with thorough installation and testing, all while train operations continue – without disruption.
